Hello,
My name is Melissa, I am a certified doula and childbirth educator with AMANI Birth. Long before my certification, the passion to help others during the journey into motherhood, one of life’s blessings, has always lived in me. I provide physical and emotional support to you and your partner during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period for a gentle birthing experience.
I am here to provide resources, support, wisdom, and most importantly care for families. Ease your concerns, feel prepared, and go over the birthing options available to you.
I am a mother of 4 children and unfortunately have also gone through loss of pregnancies to miscarriage along the way. I have experienced medicated and unmedicated births. Throughout the many stages of my life, I now see there are many things I wish I would have known sooner or done differently. My own experiences are what make me more passionate about mothers-to-be, childbirth, and the doula work I do.
I am a devoted Muslim, this may or not be a part of my service to you. I am fluent in Spanish and speak a little bit of Arabic. I would love to get to know you and see if we are a match. I will
feel honored to be able to share my expertise with you and your family.
